So far..I'm Denied for my surgery

I got the call this morning. Bev said that my insurance company has been denying everyone lately. The only reason I was denied was because I have medical documents that have been submitted that are over 90 days old. Bev told them that's true because I was doing my 6 months of required dieting that they(my insurance company) required me to do. As of noon today, my surgeon is in a meeting with the insurance company, and he said he'll get this resolved. I should hear something back today or tomorrow. Please keep your fingers crossed for me, cause I'm going crazy right now! Thanks!!

Considered yourself approved...  it seems like everyone gets denied and once the surgeon makes the call the approval comes through same day.

Sending you energy for peace and patience. I haven't had to go through this process because Kaiser works differently but I feel for you. I hope it goes just as Tony said and you end this day relieved... and if not today then SOON!

Sounds like a moronic reason to be denied. It also sounds like your doctor will take care of it. Good luck!
