 Hello Everyone:

I am two weeks out from my RNY and I lost 24 lbs in my first week but ZERO in my second week. Is it normal to plateau so early? Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks!

Jay

Completely normal and to be expected. Part of your initial large weight loss is the extra fluids they pump you full of during your surgery. And your body needs a little time to adjust. Your metabolism has just been thrown for a loop. You are doing GREAT!!! Just keep doing what you've been told... follow every single rule to the letter... do lots of walking and the weight will melt.

So excited for your journey... I hope you keep posting your story and progress.
