Granola generally has a lot of sugar, although a good bit of it tends to be natural sugar. Look at the nutrition label for fat, calories and sugar. There are low sugar granola bars that are great. I mix granola into the low fat yogurt cups. I have some real good low sugar and lower calorie granola at home. I love the Kashi Mountain Medley or Apple Orchard. I don't do the bars. I buy the granola cereal. Put it in the 1/2 cup Gladware cups. It gives you a nice portion control to add to the yogurt. I personally think 2 granola bars is way to much sugar and calories. Try the loose cereal and you will be happy. -- Tom

I buy an Atkins granola protein bar that works nicely for me - Atkins Advantage Chocolate chip Granola Bar is my favorite. The Peanut Butter one barely tastes like peanut butter, but the chocolate tastes like its made with real dark chocolate and it satisfies both my granola craving and my sweet tooth.
You can get them at Trader Joes. They're actually my prefered protein bar, now, even though they have less protein than others - around 17g.
Enjoy!
Fantastic, thank you for the input...since I just started with granola bars, I will switch to the cereal or loose granola instead, easier to add and have the right portions.
Don...thanks, I will also give the one you mentioned a try. I'm so fortunate that I've never been a big chocolate fan, so the cravings most people talk about in regards to chocolate I just can't relate and from the looks of it...I'm glad!
Thanks again.
Oh...I did buy the Greek Yogurt and added french onion dip to it...it's fantastic with veggies. Next, I'm going to try adding sugar free jelly to it for a fruit yogurt.
