You know when you have to change jobs when it affects what little appetite we have left. 

I am a software developer for a company that specializes in hospitality software (hotels, resorts high end boutique hotels and casinos).  We got a contract for a very high end casino/resort in Hawaii.  with this contract there are deliverables for program enhancements just for them.  There are deadlines and this has been the bane of my existence for a number of months.  I had my part done for quite a while now and was sitting in our QA department awaiting testing for at least two months.  If we don't deliver these enhancements to the property by the end of the month, we face financial penalties (I'd like to chop the head off of the salesperson who sold it that way). 

so now, QA has decided to start testing it and of course there are adjustments to be made by me and I'm working on this and now everyone is acting like the ******g sky is falling not to mention that I got thrown under the bus today because of it to my boss's boss's boss.

I am over it and finally ACTIVELY looking for another job.  **** these ****heads....stick a fork in me, I'm done!

Sorry to hear that Aaron, I hope you find something soon. My boss's boss was the same way. Her boss figured it out and she was fired on Thursday! I hope things turn around for you soon!

thank you Jeff!  i actually give myself two months to find another job......because i think it'll be that long before I either quit or they fire me.

Aaron I feel your pain.   I do software configuration and design and i hate when a deadline is near and something has been sitting in our QA department and then I have to make adjustments.  

Where are you located?  My company has offices all over the US and we are usually always hiring for software developers.   I know my location is hiring one but I live in Nashville.
