OT: I passed my motorcycle riding test today!!!
Congratulations! Knew you could do it if you were feeling healthy. Wife says that's one hell'a a test. (course she did her's on a scooter - good - no shifting, bad - can't be easily pushed so you are doing all that with resistance from the scoot)

Welcome to the world of riding!!! Remember to ALWAYS be a little nervous when you get on that bike. The day you take the power and the speed for granted is the day you need to not ride.

I ride two... I ride ***** on the back of Z's Harley 2005 Fat Boy. My bike is a 1986 Honda Rebel 450. It's my first bike. My training bike. Her name is Chloe.
I'm ready for a bigger bike and my friend has a 2005 Honda Shadow Aero 750 that belonged to the wife of a good friend of Arlan Ness. Arlen dressed the bike for her. She rode it for like two months and then sold it to my friend who rode it for a few months and now is ready to sell it. It only has 1900 miles on her. She's lavender with lots of chrome, new windshield still in the box, full luggage, foot boards and it's been lowered (I'm only 5'3"). She is asking only $5500. I want it more than anything and have since I first saw it.
This is sooooooo not the time to try to buy anything, let alone a new bike but... I'm going to find a way to make this happen. We are getting $1000 back on our taxes, I think I can get another $2000 for my bike and I'm oping she'll take payments on the rest. It's being garaged about 100 miles north of here and since's she's afraid to ride now (long story of why she's selling it including bad breakup with boyfriend), she's going to drive me up there on 3/14 and I'll ride it back down to her house. It will give me a chance to get it down here for her as well as see how I like the ride. Gawds I wants it bad!!!!
