To-Do List

Over the past few months I've been A LOT about WLS procedures.  One common thing i find is that people sit down and make a to-do list for when they lose weight.  This is a list like, "ride a roller coaster, run a marathon...." Basically things an individual wants to accomplish once our outter layers begin to melt. I have yet to sit down to make my list, but I keep thinking about it and adding things to the list in my head.  So my first question....did you make a list?  Have you accomplished things on your list?

When thinking about the list...I also got to thinking about this groups accomplishments that I read about every day.  So I guess I should ask....would you do anything different if you had to start at the beginning?  I'm not asking about regrets or wishing you hadn't had the surgery, but like...wish you had taken more pictures, kept a journal, etc......

This is what I ponder about today!

I have a to do list in my blog here. I do wish I would have taken more pictures alone the journey. Just to document the loss. I also wish I would have been able to go to the gym more. I have been sick more often than not since surgery and haven't been to the gym as much as would like. Good luck on your upcoming surgery.

I have a mental list.

First thing was when I lost 100 pounds I was getting a new tattoo. I did that :)

I've gone sledding for the first time in years with my kiddo!! That was AWESOME!

The next thing on my to do list is we are going to an amusement park on Mothers Day. I will be one year post up and plan to ride every ride possible!! I haven't done that in like 10 years. I can't wait!!

I take pictures a LOT!! It's neat to see my before and afters. I have them all in order and sometimes can't believe it. I don't really do any journaling besides posting a blog or something. I kept my 2008 agenda that had all of my doctor appts and stuff from when I was pre-op. I find it fascinating that this time last year I was just starting my journey!

I have a list, and so far I have worn my clothes tucked in..

I still need to jump out of an airplane and buy a vespa. That's in 2009.

I don't really have any "I wishes..." I journal every day, I work out all the time, I watch what I eat. And hell I am enjoying life these days...
I have found a new way of life that has kept me at Goal since 2008.. And keeping it that way!
