Paul, Nice news on your weight loss. I have a fill appointment next week and still am unsure of what I want to do. I think it depends on how my weigh-in goes. -- Tom

thanks Tom. I appreciate that. it's a lot of weight off but sometimes it's hard not to look at the RNY people and say damn I wish I could lose that much in that short a time. ya know? but I know I made the right decision for me in getting the band. I had been getting hungry very very soon after a meal and I could eat more than I needed to so I knew it was time. i am hoping this fill kicks in soon, doesn't feel much different but maybe it will when I get back to solids...he said hopefully. hey I bought some all bran, I am going to try using it this weekend to coat some chicken as you mentioned. sounds yummy and goodness knows I could use the fiber
Hey Paul when you feel that way about the weight, just think of me. I have been sick more than I haven't since surgery due to the rapid weight loss or complications (strictures are a wonderful thing. NOT). But, I knew what I was in for when I signed up for the RNY. I wanted the rapid weight loss so I wouldn't get discouraged too. Good for you for sticking with it!

OMG... DEATH BY DESSERT!!!! I would have killed for that a year ago.LOL - It would be challenging. I am too easily tempted to be bad. I never seek out the bagels or donuts on birthday celebrations. I do miss the Pan era Cinnamon Crunch Bagel. It is my #1 favorite Panera product.
