Since our charismatic cheerleader Aaron is unable to log in at work, he asked me to post the 3 things daily.   (And no I am not going to wave pom poms or jump up in the air LOL)  So I figured I would post it before I went to sleep :)

I will probably add mine when I wake up but for now I am grateful for:

1.  The wonderful people on this forum  You guys seriously rock!!!

2.  quiet nights at home with just me, music, pencils, and a pad of paper

Ok, now that I am awake, here are my 3 for today:

1. I managed to sleep about 4 hours, which for me was good! :)

2. today's gonna be a long tough day, but i'm mentally prepared for it so it should be ok :)

3. my house is clean and the freezer is full of dinner for the week LOL

2) 1 day down, 4 to go at work.

It is great! About the only thing I KNOW the pouch will like is beef. It also likes lunch meat. I get turkey, ham, and roast beef. None of that fake stuff for me. I'm a year out and still want to beat it at times. I would almost kill for something spicey but nooooooooooo, the pouch hates anything too spicey.

I agree the gym is great for stress relief.  when I'm there I find that everything that is troubling me just melts away...at least for a while.

1. just made reservations to go to Provincetown for 5 days in May...is it May yet

2. the posts on this board that really make me think about my journey..not just my weight loss journey but my journey through life as well.  sometimes a little too thought provoking but thinking about some things shouldn't be avoided.

that's it for today. I am having one of those "fat" days where I hate my body and wish the weight would just melt away and all the issues in my life would just resolve magically without having to work on them.

Goodmorning!
1) Last evening's walk felt good, and I slept like a rock! (which felt even better)
2) Paperwork is caught up from the last two weeks.
3) My wife's feelin' better. (ulterior motive alert - she does laundry on Tuesdays!)

Wife says;
1) Ugg boots!
2) Long underware suitable for hot flashes.
3) My wife who lets me Nerf (play with foam dart guns)

Good morning (or closer to noon for those east of eden).

1. Z's interview went well yesterday. They are going to chat at 1 today and then we should know something. Keeping my fingers crossed.

2. I'm going to buckle down and clean my bathroom today. Before my weight loss I was fastidious and fussy about the apartment being spotless. Now not as much. Interesting. Probably has something to do with control transference.

3. My babygirl may come back to work today (following her knee surgery). If so, I get to drive her home which means probably two hours on the road for me but at least an hour of that will be spent with her. I've missed her. Oh, and she's my boss at work which is strange and wonderful.

Raven:  Let us know when you know about Z's job!  Keeping my fingers crossed!

And if your daughter and her partner want to join us for dinner that would be great too!
I have found a new way of life that has kept me at Goal since 2008.. And keeping it that way!
