Glad your partner is doing well! I got in so much knitting in the last 48 hours that my arms are sore! LOL

1) Onderland!

2) Family breakfast today (and every Saturday, but it's nice to have picked a family to join who are so glad to be together)

3) Tomorrow is Superbowl // Deserted Gym Sunday. We will be taking advantage of #2.

WOOHOOO!!!!   Congrats on Onederland!   Family breakfast sounds awesome, one of the things I miss was getting together with my parents most saturday mornings for breakfast, so cool when people enjoy spending time together.

1.  In Phoenix this weekend hanging out with some friends, stayed up way too late but got to sleep in today!

2.  While I am out of town, my cousins are turning one of my spare bedrooms into a new closet for me!   Yay!  Now I will have a place to put all of the new clothes I will surely stock up on once I hit goal, and the shoes!!!

3.  Was able to eat chicken last night for the first time without it making me sick... it was REALLY good too!

Edited-

4. Today is shaping up to be a FANTASTIC day!!!!   In a seriously great mood now

1. Got to sleep in until 9 a.m. this morning which was good since I was up five times during the night with not being able to breath through this damn head cold.

2. Z suggested we go for mani/pedi today. Yeah!!! and I get to get a wax job on the brows. We'll go right after our chihuahua (Tia) gets home from the groomer. It's a grooming day for everyone! Yippee!!!!!!!!

3. Happy to be able to hook up with some friends from SF and Sacramento this evening for dinner and then Z and I are headed out to a performance of Burn the Floor (dancing). Maybe it will inspire me to move more. We'll ride the bikes over to avoid the horrible parking situration in the city. (It's a gorgeous day for riding too!)

EDIT: Didn't get to do the mani/pedi today as they were completely booked. Will have to wait for another weekend. *bummer* So instead I got busy and made Shelly's Southwestern Bites with beef, green chilies, pemento, and cheddar cheese. I just took them out of the oven. I think they'll be really good.

Also talked with friends that we are going to dinner with and they asked where I would like to go so I can get the food I need. I am consistently amazed and touched by the support I receive from friends, even ones I don't see very often.

Not to sound dumb but how the heck does a chihuahua get groomed?

ROFL... quickly.

Actually she's 3.5 pounds and strong and slippery when wet. So we quit trying to do it ourselves. She goes to a wonderful man downtown named Alphonso who adores her. She gets a bath and her ears done and her anal glands expressed (she hates that but it's a little dog thing) and her nails trimmed. She gets her nails trimmed every two weeks and the full monty about every 6-8 weeks. She doesn't like going but does fine once she's there.

LOL Ok, I had a poodle and I was thinking along those lines. Not just a bath, ears, nails. We used to do that with Morgan but we take her to the vet for nails and anal glands. It was 8 bucks at PetCo and they ALWAYS cut her nails too short. Now it's free!
