Ok so yesterday, I went to the gym for the first time in a long time and OMG my knees are screaming at me today!!!!!  my left knee moreso than my right knee.  After I got back from the gym I tried to get in as much protein I could for dinner....got 30+ grams in at dinner.  I ended up doing 2 miles ont he treadmill in 30 minutes which is a first for me and I wasn't even winded!  then I did 3 miles on the bike......what really killed me was doing the weights on my legs.....when I would do a leg press or leg curl, all I could feel were my knees crunching.  So I think from now on, it's treadmill and bike for my legs and just work on my upper body  LOL  Well enough of my yammering.....here's what I had for yesterday....what did you have?

b - 6 strips of veggie bacon and oatmeal

l - veggie chicken patty with 4 sticks of string cheese

d - well I started off with some ricotta cheese, veggie chicken patty, pizza sauce and mozzarella cheese but I wanted something sweet and cool to eat so I changed over to greek yogurt and kashi

got 120 ounces of fluids in and all my vits.

Good gravy, Aaron, you're doing really well on the excercise front.  It takes me 30 minutes to do 2 miles on the elliptical and after that I'm DONE.  I can't imagine doing 3 more miles on a bike machine after...yowza!

Last night I did (speak of the devil) 35 minutes of cardio on the elliptical and then did 1 hour of weight lifting with my trainer focusing on chest.  No pain today....which means either I did it wrong or tomorrow is going to SUCK.

Food:
B> half a ham and cheese omelette and some pieces of pineapple and cantaloupe.

s> Some almonds.

L> Leftover gyro meat and lula kebabs from yesterday which made me really ill for some reason.

s> Atkins protein bar on the way to the gym (200 calories, checked it before hand this time)
s> Cherry nectar shake after the gym

D> about 1 oz almonds

Got in all vitamins (even if I had to take my last dose of multi just before bed) and about 70 oz of water out of my target of 80 oz.

This was actually my first time back to the gym in a while.  I was really surprised....I thought I would be half dead after that but I was ready for more.  It's like my body hasn't given out, just my legs LOL  I applaud you for using the elliptical.  It's really comical when I try to use it.......almost like a LUCY episode.....I get on the thing and I can't control my speed.......I fly on it until the point of falling off of it  LOL

food wise you're doing excellent!

WTG on the gym!  I know what you mean though, as I did 30 mins on the eliptical and 15 on the treadmill yesterday, then went swimming.  So needless to say I am sore today.  I was supposed to work on my legs this morning, but when i went to the gym my legs were still hurting so I just worked out my arms instead.

Yesterday my food was:

b- kashi golean crunch / skim milk

l - 5 shrimp,  pepper jack cheese

d - 1/2 cup chilli, slice swiss cheese

s - yogurt

also got in 110 oz fluids, 3 protein shakes, and all my vits

Posting in the evening so I can stick with today's food -

Protein shake - 30 grams
PB 2 tsp
Broccoli cheese quiche 2/3 slice
Rondele cheese spread - pumpkin spice <2 TBSP (no bagel!)
M&Ms - small handful
1/4 cup vegie chili (more like vegie stew with chili seasoning)

Low on fluids, calcium, and protein, but I ate the vegie chili too fast and it is sitting like a LOG in my tummy even after two hours.

Plan - another 30grams protein shake and another 40 oz fluids before bed. So I'll be exhausted for Friday cause I'll be peeing all night!

UGH  I hate the feeling when you eat something too fast...  it happened to me this afternoon with some ahi tuna steak.  I felt like I was gonna die for an hour!  But we live and we learn, right  :)

And veggie chilli sounds really good right now, I may have to make some this weekend
