My surgery was 3 months ago today, the time has flown by. I am not sure how much weight I have lost, I have not been on a scale in about 4 weeks. I know I am loosing i put on a size 38 jeans and they were a little loose! I have not been in a 38 in years. I am going to the gym at least 5 days a week and using the weights and the cardio. I can not believe how much more energy I have. I can't believe I am saying this but on the days I am not at the gym I miss it. I am really enjoy lifting the weights and seeing the benefits too!

You are doing great! So glad you are loving the gym. This weekend we get to pick one (probably be mundane and cheap and pick the local YMCA, but hey, a choice is a choice) and start working that into our schedule.

Hi Nean:

I don't know about your Y but my partner and I picked the Y on purpose. It has an indoor pool, a fantastic work out facility with TV's and SO MUCH MORE!! I love it. And we get the family plan (2 adults and as many under 18 year olds you want) for $80. I am about to start with a personal trainer to try and put things "back" were they're supposed to be..
I have found a new way of life that has kept me at Goal since 2008.. And keeping it that way!

Congratulations! I completely understand the gym obsession... I go to the gym 4 days a week and then work out at home or go hike in the beautiful outdoors one day a week. Then I try and make an active "family" outing one day a week. I even found Gay Physical Vacations tht include hiking and mountain climbing.. I think my girlfriend is about to commit me.
