Newbie around here!

Well hello there! I'm Justin. I'm new around here. I've been on the site a few weeks and have been snooping around, but haven't actually really posted anything. I'm currently considering getting surgery and am going to a seminar with a doctor i've been considering next monday. Umm, not sure what else to say, but just wanted to drop in and say hello! Hope to meet some nice people on here!

Hi Justin!

I had my surgery over a year and a half ago.  I have to say it was the greatest thing I have ever done.  I feel so much better.  I am able to move around so much easier and my health has improved so much.  My feet used to ache sooooooo bad all the time.  I couldnt go shopping for more than an hour or two because I just hurt so much.  Now I can't even remember what those old feelings felt like.  I am a new man and just love it.  I encourage you in your adventure.  I wish you the best of luck.

I have only been on the site for a couple of weeks too.
I sure have learned alot and everyone has been really nice.
I am sooo glad to have found this site.
It makes me feel more "normal" lol.
My lapband surgery is scheduled for the end of March.
I have learned so much from everyone.
This is a great place for support if you do decide to have WLS.

Welcome, Justin! You've come to the right place! I found this site and this board to be such a terrific source of information and support. There are very nice people here, who are always willing and ready to give you support and answers to any questions you might have.

Welcome! I'm currently on  a waiting list to start classes for the surgery. I have Kaiser so it's a long process, but will be well worth the wait!
