Ok, so along with my nephew's first word being my name for my big Christmas present, my mom gave me a blender along with a couple of WLS books. I was wondering if any of you wonderful people had any good suggestions for a few home made smoothies I could try. I'm down with trying anything.

I  was hoping for a glass digital scale and a stick blender.

I used Greek yogurt (high in protein) and some unflavored protein powder with a little water and fresh fruit. I personally loved strawberry and banana. I wish you luck experimenting.

I shall now be know as Hagatha: Queen of the queens.

I like to take either a low calorie yogurt cup or a 1/2 cup of no-fat cottage cheese, a scoop of protein powder, a few ice cubes and maybe a half a banana and blend it. It makes a high protein shake to begin the day. -- Tom

i know this isn't a blender recipe but it is really good. I only eat egg whites, and it was delish, and if you are still on soft foods no added fat. I found it on the recipe forum, lots of good stuff over there...

ZIPLOC OMELET

(This works great!!! Good for when all your family is together.  The best part is that no one has to wait for their special omelet !!!)
Have everyone write their name on a quart-size Ziploc freezer bag with permanent marker. Crack 2 eggs (large or extra-large) into the bag (not more than 2) shake to combine them. Put out a variety of ingredients such as: cheeses, ham, onion, green pepper, tomato, hash browns, salsa, etc. Each guest adds prepared ingredients of choice to their bag and shake. Make sure to get the air out of the bag and zip it up. Place the bags into rolling, boiling water for exactly 13 minutes. You can usually cook 6-8 omelets in a large pot. For more, make another pot of boiling water. Open the bags and the omelet will roll out easily. Be prepared for everyone to be amazed.
