Survived Christmas!

Hello, my name is Kristina and I recently had my RNY 12/10/08.  I was a little worried about Christmas dinner, but it went really well in fact.  While everyone else was having roast beef, manicotti and wonderful side dishes, I was having a few mashed potatos and a bit of cheese.  So far I've lost 25lbs, I'm sipping and walking as often as my arthritis allows.  So good to find this forum and look forward to getting to know everyone else.  Happy New Year!

Thanks for the support, so now I'm reaching out yet again.  I caught a terrible head and chest cold and not quite sure what to take.  So far I've been taking the diabetic tussin and just recently added mucinexD...does anyone have any other recommendations...stuffy head, runny nose, sore throat, deep cough...etc.  Thanks

Welcome and congrats!!!  I am not sure what you can take for the horrible head and chest cold.  Try calling your dr in the am.  Get well soon!

Welcome Kristina!

I take the Dayquil gel caps and don't seem to have a problem.

Hope it helps
