I have a womanly question

Has anyone's cramps gotten worse since surgery?  I hope that is all it is.  I have sharp little spurts of pain in my belly area.  I never had menstrual problems before surgery.

Not really. I have cramps some months and others I don't. It all has to do with my Pill I think.

I'm on the pill and had to stop it one month before surgery and couldn't start it back up until one month after surgery..so my periods were much heavier..but I just attributed it to being off the pill. I've been on the pill for years to help with my periods so I don't go without it. I was a bit miserable for a while.

Maybe I am constipated. 

 

I was worried about my first menstrual cycle after surgery (my last period started the night I had surgery...talk about a mess).  Well, I just finish my first cycle and noticed a couple changes from normal...I was 21 days like clock work, this last cycle I was 30 days...I used to have very bad back cramps, not so much this time, but I did have some cramping in my left side.  I was worried about that, but it went away as soon as my period started.  By the way, I know it makes a difference, I'm not on the pill.

Luckily, I hope I was constipated.  As soon as I took Milk of Magnesia (sp) I was able to use the bathroom and the cramps went away.  So, I HOPE that is all it was, LOL.
