New to GLBT board
Hi folks!
Just noticed there's a GLBT board on here...yay!
A quick intro: My name's Don, I'm 35, and just had Rouen-Y on Nov 5th after an intense year of dieting and self-improvement beforehand. As of a couple weeks ago, I'd lost my first 100 lbs since January. I'm feeling great and so far have had nothing but positive experiences with the surgery.
Looking forward to meeting you all and picking your brains about your experiences.

My name is Lori, I'm 43 and I just recently had the lap band surgery (12/23/2008). One of the ladies at my docs office told me about OH. I was happy to find the GLBT board. I am looking forward to sharing our journey together. I have to confess, I am a bit overwhelmed with the Christmas season and having a stomach the size of a thumb! All seems to be going well. I do have significant pain in my chest and shoulder blades. I am hoping this goes away soon.
