I agree that is a bad choice. It appears that Obama is trying to mend some bridges with conservatives. By throwing them this bone, it appears he is on that path. I notice his press release mentioned that he and Warren disagree on GLBT issues. That seems to be an attempt to appease GLBT people. We will see where Obama really stands in the coming year. I notice that Andrew Sullivan in his blog is very apprehensive about Obama after this choice.

And you know.. the day I heard this announced I went off at work... no one had any clue... figured ok next day after everyone goes home and watches the news everyone will be stirring the following morning....

nothing

it's like all the Obamabots went back in to hibernation after the election.  It was so cool to see everyone so involved with the news and everything during the election... and then pfftt

hopefully Obama doesn't turn in to a Rueben Studdard... wins American Idol and then no one buys his albums

I will say that I'm curious to see how this is all going to pan out... it's been on every single news wire for the past few days

Hi Tony:

You so read my mind. It is amazing. The constant political chit chat for the last few months and now everyone has disappeared. Then I hear things like "Well Warren may be speaking, but at least McCain didn't win!"

Well it's not an either or for me... This is unacceptable
