Fiber supplement?

I had to go to my pcp yesterday and she said I needed to start taking a fiber laxative. I have not read anything about this and just wanted to make sure that was ok with my pouch. Has any one else taken this after RNY? I did find a sugar free chewable.

I take the Benfiber chewables DAILY! If I don't .............well you can guess what happens!

I don't take it. I eat Activia. It's just a personal preferance since I can get some dairy in this way.

I take Milk of Mag. After 1 week with no going...my doc said take a double dose. I have been lucky and not have had to use anything since the beg.

Benefiber in the am decaf works for me. Can't taste or smell it. Cheap enough at Costco etc.

Miralax when you're bound up is a fricking miracle and it's tasteless. Can be mixed in coffee, juice, whatever..but it's an actual laxative and not just a fiber supplement. I haven't had to use anything since the first week after surgery..but oh My God..when I did, this was the best.

LMAO I felt that way about magnesium citrate. I hadn't gone for close to a week then had surgery. I was looking at two weeks and sick as a dog from it. Took the mag citrate and

my brains out! I didn't leave the house for 24 hours. Felt better after it was said and done tho. LOL
