12 hours until surgery

Well it's been a busy week. I got my BiPap machine yesterday. (Yes, the name still makes me giggle...) I made it about 5 hours before I had to pull off the mask. I did sleep well when I was using it. I just don't know if I can get accustomed to sleeping on my back. Hopefully I'll do better with it tonight.

My lapband surgery is tomorrow morning. I'm still amazed the date is already here. I really pushed to get everything done so I could have the surgery before the end of the year. I'm SO looking forward to moving on to this next phase of my life.  I'll check in when I get home.

You are in my thoughts!  You will be amazed how much better you will feel when you start to really sleep!  Congratulations!

Sam,
Best of luck on your surgery!  I am doing well 5 months out... down almost 50. It was an uneventful surgery and the loss has been simple. I love the changes in lmy life.

You will get used to the BiPsp machine. I love my CPAP machine since I now feel so relaxed during the day.

Well, it's been an eventful day. The surgery went amazingly well, and they sent me home around 3pm.  I seem to be tolerating water and little swallows of protien drink. I expect things will hurt a bit more tomorrow as my body recovers from the surgery. I'm heading to bed. Thanks for the encouragement!
