Does anyone know how to fix an avatar so it doesn't get all distorted? The pic in my album looks alot better than the same pic in my avatar.

when you resize your pictures, make sure that it is a 1:1 ratio......that way if the original picture is an odd size, when you shrink it, it'll maintain that same aspect. I'm not sure if the resizing websites give you that option but I know most picture editing software gives you that option.

I actually didn't resize it. I cut myself from a group photo. Oh well, maybe I screwed something up that I'm not realizing.

hmmmm..........I wonder if you try to cut yourself from the group photo then try to resize to 100x100 keeping the aspect ratio 1:1 (so it could end up being 100x75 which is usually the case for my pictures)

Aaron is right. You need to cut it out at a 1-to-1 ratio. I like to use www.picnik.com to do it. Once you have a 1-to-1 pic cut out out you can resize it to 100 X 100.
