My panniculectomey (sp?) is tomorrow at 8:30.  I have to be there at 6:30. I'll be staying over night too which kinda sucks but it's for the best!

I'm more nervous than when I had the RNY. But I tell myself "If I can have RNY I can do anything". Except this time I'll have a 20 inch (or so) incision that I'm so not looking forward too. But this too shall pass, right?

I put my tree up Sunday and doing some grocery shopping today. My g/f is NOT the decorator around here. If I left it up to her we'd have a Charlie Brown Xmas LOL. All of my shopping is done and presents are wrapped! Now I can spend the next 2 weeks or so healing and enjoying the Holidays!

I'll be at LGH for anyone in the MA area and I'm sure I'll have some lovely pictures when I return

Good luck tomorrow, Brooke, you'll do just fine.  I had a tummy tuck on 10/1/2008 and I was up and about pretty comfortably within days.  The scar will fade with time, so as long as its even and symmetrical, don't worry about it's color/texture for now.  The best advice I got was to walk as much as I could and still be comfortable, to stay well-hydrated (helps w/ swelling), to make sure I ate lots of protein (helps w/ healing), and to get as much rest as possible.  I followed this advice and had an excellent and uneventful recovery; I wish the same for you!

I look forward to seeing your lovely pictures - if you want to see mine, let me know (you have to be a "friend" to be able to see my pix).  Good luck tomorrow!!!
