 Hi all.

How are you guys????

Im am still fine, I am slowly adjusting to  my new life.

I have lost 28.4 LBS, almost 13 kilos in 3 weeks.

I am struggling to drink enough water during the day.

The food is wonderful to eat, chew, chew, chew...... I eat most protein and doing well.

I don´t have any cravings for anything, and I do not even have an attraction for sodas, mc donalds, buns or cakes. Thats fantastic:)

Glad things are going good for you. If you have Smar****er there try that. It has electrolites in it to help you from getting dehydrated. I started using it a few months ago and I have had NO dehydration problems!

Hi

I've been drinking three glasses of water before I eat breakfast. For some reason that makes it easier to get in the rest of the water and it goes down well first thing. I also carry around bottles that hold 24 oz and then I try for one through the morning and another in the afternoon. By dinner time I generally have in my water and then it doesn't get me up at night. I've actually gotten to the point where I enjoy the water.

Good luck to you!

Connie

Your words are encouraging. I have my surgery in a couple weeks and it's nice to know that you're doing okay. What type of surgery did you have? RNY or Lap Band? I will be facing the same challenges shortly.

Have a great day!

Congrats to you!!!  I lost all want for Soda, although I really never drank too much of it anyhow.  I lost my crazy craving for coffee.  I NEVER thought that would happen...it was the only thing that "used" to matter in my life, LOLOL.

Oh hey Danny,

You are shrinking away!  Is it not wonderful????  The cravings for food just fly out the door.  WARNING:  They return after a year.....   You will do fine.  I waited about 15 months before starting back on the Diet Cokes...However,  after the holidays, I have decided to give them up for good.  They really are not good for us and the caffeine?  Yikes!

So glad your doing well!

Kent

I havent even gotten to surgery but the water thing I have DOWN. I personally think water is the secret to a lot of diet success. At first its hard to remember or be at all mindful of your water in take. But, after a while as long as you really concentrate on making it a habit you wont even think about it. It Will just become a normal part of your day. You might even crave water ( I know that sounds strange) But, I do, in fact for me it replaced my morning cup of coffee as my pick me up.
A couple of tips that are working for me. I got these from a nutrition and excorsize manual.

Spread it out... (Dont try to drink it all at once)

Save your empty water bottles and refill them. (That makes it WAY easier to figure out how much water you have had all day.)

Keep a FULL bottle of water by your side all day and sip all day as you move along
