Got verbal approval from ins for 2nd round of plastics!

I talked to my health insurer today and got verbal approval for part of my 2nd round of plastics.  Insurance will cover the breast lift and I'll have to pay for the arm lift/brachioplasty.  That's what I expected, so I'm fine with that.

My surgery is scheduled for 12/16/08; I need to wait for my surgeon's office to get the written approval from my insurance company before they will schedule my pre-op appointments and tell me what the cost is for the arm lift.  But I have approval and a surgery date, so know the rest of it will fall into place in due course.

I wanted to take a minute to say thanks to all the folks who offered support and encouragement while I was recovering from my tummy tuck.  It's so nice to know there are folks who understand where I've come from and just what an important step this is for me.  You all get me in a way that very few other people understand, and I'm really glad to be part of this community -

Thanks, Kathy!!!  I'm excited about getting this 2nd round over.  I'll be able to start 2009 as a whole new woman :-)

I said congrats on Facebook, but congratulations again.   I'm having my brachio and breast lift tomorrow - I appreciated your tummy tuck info, and if I can answer anything after I have mine, I'll be happy to.   I will also post "after" pictures, assuming everything goes well.

Good luck with your breast lift and brachioplasty - I'm sure everything will go just fine.  I would like to hear about how your breast lift and brachioplasty go, especially any tips or tricks you can suggest about how to manage my recovery.  I also look forward to seeing your pictures!

Will keep you in my thoughts and prayers on your surgery day -

Kellie

That is great!  I had a bl/ba  and tt in May 07 and recently had to have a revision on the right since the implant dropped due to a weak muscle!  It is doing great and the girls are both perky again! Yea!!!!  I was self paid for both - man I wish I could have had something covered!!!

I would love to hear about your arms... I want to have them done but my PS told me just to lift weights - that the scar will be worst than the hanging skin.  It is not bad but I would love to have pencil arms (as I call Jennifer Anniston's! LOL)

Keep us posted and congradulations!
Valerie :)
