WHERE IS BEST FOR YOU TO EAT ? DO YOU DO BETTER ALONE OR WITH OTHERS

IT MIGHT SEEM VERY STRANGE....BUT EATING OUT ALONE IS WHEN I DO BEST......THESE ARE THE REASONS I CAN IDENTIFY.
I TAKE MY TIME AND ORDER MUCH HEALTHIER VS WHAT I WOULD EAT IMPULSIVELY AT HOME
I EAT SLOWER....NO DISTRACTIONS ( I HAVE ADHD AND I AM EASILY DISTRACTED AND START TO EAT TOO FAST)

Sean, I agree. When I eat alone at home or at my desk at work, I tend to eat slower and eat less. I think it is because I think more about the food. I also do OK dining out with my partner, coworker or friend. I still seem to be able to concentrate on how and what I am eating.
Last night, Brett and I were invited out with a large group of 20 to eat. Things just got out of hand around the table. Appetizers, salads, sides, main dishes, desserts and after dinner drinks. I still ate a small portion but was tempted to try a few bites of appetizers and sides. I was stuffed and actually had to excuse myself 2 times to go to the restroom and slime. I am tempted so easily. It was also hard I think because there was a lot of fast conversation and the pace of the evening seemed to speed up my eating. A very large group seems to be bad for my eating habits.
This Saturday night we are going to see Legally Blond with 7 bear friends. The restaurant they chose was a Brazilian steakhouse-- not at all good for our diets. After my last fill, I can not eat a lot of red meat. These places are just an endless parade of meat. So, I am worried about how an evening out in a group of 9 bears will be. I guess the bottom line is to concentrate on your food and what you should be eating.

I have got to where I can eat out with Kelly...but I do not eat well in groups...when I start running my mouth...I will swallow wrongs and get the foamies...every time..
I have also found that I do better in a chair and in a booth..
