Happy Tuesday?
Hoping that you're all waking up to a great Tuesday morning. I'm doing okay, but still experiencing some "last supper syndrome" before my surgery. Yesterday was okay, but my dinner could have been better. How is everyone doing today. I will keep you all in my thoughts today as I working on my journey as well.
Peace,
don
Hi Don...
Welcome to our little corner of the OH world. You are far from alone on this journey, especially here, on this forum, where you will find a tremendous amount of friendship, support, information, and an unfortunate smattering of really bad jokes!
If you scroll down to page 4, the second thread from the top was one I started just days before my surgery, when I wondered what people experienced regarding "Last Suppers" and pre-op jitters (it's the second from the top -- "Just Curious"). I found the responses to be very helpful and you may, too.
I hope you will visit and post often.

Your words are enlightening to me! I've really just been going through anxious moments I guess. I've been in therapy for about 6 months and doing really well. I'm actually down 30 pounds before my surgery. I'm really happy about this and already feel incredible from just taking some weight down. Reading you what you all have written helps me keep all of this is perspective.
Thanks goodness my partner runs a 5K every day and is truly supportive. I'm blessed.
Peace,
don
You know the last supper thing seems so important at your point in the journey. As you move forward you will see how you look differently at how things fit into your life after surgery. I find that I have just as fulfilling dinners. The food just changes a little and the amount too. Before you know it you will be looking back and saying how glad you are to make the decision to have surgery. Be sure to read the thread on last suppers. The responses are all helpful and insightful.
