I actually ate out with friends for lunch today...

I'm now 6 weeks post-op and today decided to join some work friends for lunch at Alcupulco Fresh. I love this place. I was able to get a kids plate with a cheese quesadilla, rice and beans for like $4 and I only ate 1/2 of the tiny quesadilla and some rice. I was so done by the end of it. The only part I struggled with was not being able to drink during the meal. There were lots of comments being made about the fact I couldn't drink. Usually I don't even think about it so it's a non-issue, but that was a little difficult. I even enjoyed some salsa.

I'll typically cook myself a cheese quesadilla at home made with those 6 inch soft taco shells and this was a similar size. I only use one and just flip it in half. It's perfect.

And I'm able to tolerate pasta and rice no problem. I think that's good and bad.
