I'm home...

Had my sleeve on Thursday...got home last evening....what a whirlwind this week has been!  On Monday, I had a very long, very stressful trial....Tuesday, both elation and sadness over this election....thrilled Obama won, but deeply sad that Prop 8 was not defeated....Wednesday the nerves kicked in big time....was on clear liquids all day, but had to appear on 12 cases that day...challenging at best....

I am feeling pretty good...the most challenging part is keeping our little ones from jumping on me...had to lock myself in my room last night as they love to wake us up by climbing on our bed in the morning....but I got to say our 3 yr old is the funniest so far with her:

"Grandma, you sure are getting skinny!  The doctor is making you skinny!" 

Now, if I could just figure out how to do one of those ticker things....

You are not kidding about a whirlwind! Wow. Wednesday sounds like a doozy. Glad you are recovering well.

I hope you have a complication free recovery !!!!! Well I hope you are the skinniest grandma on the block !!!!!

Thank you both....I have been mostly a lurker these last couple of weeks...but I cannot tell you how much this board has meant to me just before this surgery....I focused on the positive posts when feeling scared and it made all the difference in the world to me....
