I found you!

Hi all.  I'm Laya.  I've spent a lot of time on the VSG forum, some on RNY and never knew your forum existed.  I can't even tell you how I found you but it must have been last week that I started reading your posts.  I thought it was time to introduce myself.  I went to my pre-op appointment yesterday and surgery will be this Friday, Nov. 14.  I'm starting to get nervous but am staying positive.

Hi Laya and Welcome -- I'm glad you decided to "come out of the closet" and post!

My surgery is on Monday, so I understand how you feel. I'm also nervous, but excited and eager to be done with this phase of the journey.

I have found a lot of support, encouragement, and information here, and I'm continually touched by the kindness of the individuals in this group. Bad jokes notwithstanding...

Hang in there and I will, too. Let's "compare notes" once we're both back home, okay?
