I must admit that I am curious as to why you feel threatened because I have no idea what has happened, but more than that, I am truly sorry you feel this way. I have enjoyed reading your posts and am glad we have you as a supporter. I hope there comes a time, soon, that you feel comfortable enough to rejoin us.
take care,

"...I just feel a little threatened and that's all I will say. I know it's nothing personal so I don't want to say more. Once things have settled down I will be back like "normal"..."
In trying to understand, I went back and reviewd the "Recent Posts" to this forum. Quite a number of us have expressed our shock, sadness, disappointment, outrage, and confusion over Prop 8 in CA. It would be unfortunate if you interpreted this as a consensus on your continued participation here.
Over the past several months, I have experienced you to be a caring, open-minded, and supportive member. I'm wondering whether, as a straight person, you are feeling uncomfortable over this situation. No need to. Those who know you here have no doubt that yours would have been one of the loudest voices urging a NO vote on Prop 8, had you been there...
THIS IS SUPPOSE TO BE A SAFE FORUM FOR EVERYONE....

I hope that it isn't related to Prop 8, because it's beyond me how anyone, gay or straight, who participates here regularly could interpret the anger and dismay expressed in respose to its passage as being a attack. For straight participants, it is a reminder of their "otherness"? I suppose; there's no getting around this. Big deal--get over it!
Sorry that I'm not blowing rainbows up your butt, but I respect you too much to do that.
