We are so discurouged in CA

Keep us in your thoughts and prayers as we now begin the biggest legal battle of our lives...

If we ultimately loose... We are moving to Canada. Any suggestions on which parts are warmer?

I have found a new way of life that has kept me at Goal since 2008.. And keeping it that way!

Even more unbelievable in 2008 in California!

I don't expect to find anywhere in Canada warm, but less freezing is hopeful.

I have found a new way of life that has kept me at Goal since 2008.. And keeping it that way!

I cannot tell you where to move but you guys are in my thoughts. I was born in San Fran and lived in San Diego for a long time so Cali is near and dear to me. Of course, being in NC......lol, you can just imagine.....

My best friend is in NC and loves it. She seems to do alright living an out Gay lifestyle. But she says it is a lot harder than it was in San Fran.

Thank you for your thoughts. The sad part is San Deigo and Orange County were the biggest supporters of Prop 8.

Oh for sure!! We live out our lifestyle just like a straight couple for sure, but the attitude toward us is a lot different then when I lived in Cali. It could, also, be that I am white and she is black.....who knows. We have gotten a lot more looks since we have moved to the country. Beleive it or not, the rednecks love us...it is the country folk with money, lol. We still have, like a lot of the country, a lot of "hatred" here. Sad.

Ok that is just so weird. My friend in NC her ex-wife was black, and they more flack from the town folk about the color issue than the gay issue.... That baffles me even more.

I have an R&R thread on this if you want to chime in over there. I am so disheartened that 70% of Californian african americans voted against equal marriage rights.

It was highest in African American women. I firmly believe it is because of the hate that is being preached from a lot of pulpits in our State.

Again I wonder.. Where is the seperation of Church and State. This was PASSED by the Mormon Church basically. I believe that is where the lawsuits will begin.
