Hi everybody....well I  was in an emergency room on Friday...I had a Dr. appt. and was sent from the appt. to the ER of the hospital my Dr is affiliated with. I was sent because my blood pressure was dangerously high. They worked me up for to make sure I was not having a heart attack....once that was negative they released me even though my blood pressure was still very high.....I was not impressed with the care (it sucked)....On Saturday I was still not feeling well and in a lot of pain...Russ and I went shopping (got a beautiful stand alone pantry at a STEAL). On the way back I asked him to stop at WalMart to check my blood pressure. It was critically high..(stroke makingly high).....Off to a second ER and admitted for critically high blood pressure from Sat to Monday morning. Well the good news...No Cardiac Issues at all. The bad news. I was diagnosed with "Thoracic Outlet Syndrome" I neurological condition which is difficult to to treat AND VERY PAINFUL !! My blood pressure was out of control due to the pain...I was sent home on heavy duty pain medication...which is not controlling the pain well....back to the Dr. tomorrow...will keep everyone updated....

Please get some rest and let us know about the doctor appt tomorrow!  You are a smart person to have know to go to Walmart and check your pressure!!!  Get well soon!

Hi, Sean - I'm sorry you're having such a rough time.  I'm glad they were able to figure out what's going on; hopefully you'll be able to get the TOS under control so you can be more comfortable and get back to your daily routine.  I can empathize with your Halloween ER experience; I had to spend Halloween in the ER w/ complications after my RNY and it was an awful experience.

I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers; please keep us posted on how you are doing -

Wow... this almost sounds like what my mother went through, but with her legs.  With the blood pressure issues... you have no issues with blood flow do you?  It took them 5 years before they finally did a flow study on my mother (even after several trips to Mayo)
Found out her veins closed up on her and caused bad nerve damage.

I pray they can get you all fixed up and they get this under control.
