TOTAL FREAKIN' IDIOT!!!!

So, there I am on the road at 5:00 this morning, en route to my ultrasound and pretesting appointments (hospital is 2.5 hours away), when this jerk decides to pull out of a gas station and cut me off!! I was driving slowly since the roads were pretty slippery out here, but I still could not avoid hitting him.
Luckily, no one was injured.

When we got out of the cars, I asked: "WHAT WERE YOU THINKING???" and he actually said: "Oh well, I guess I thought I had enough time."

Keep in mind, the road was empty at that hour...

Fortunately, I was able to get my apointments rescheduled for November 5th, so my surgery is still on for the 10th.

What a way to start the day, but at least I know it can only get better...

So, here are my "3 Things for Wednesday:"

1. No one was hurt
2. I was able to reschedule
3. My surgery isn't delayed

Be safe out there...

I am glad no one was hurt Joanne and your surgery date remains the same.
some drivers out there are total idiots. today of all days for that to happen. so sorry.
like you said the day can only get better from here out.

Glad to hear you are safe and no one was hurt.. Things happen for a reason... good thing is that you are still on for the 10th WOO HOO.. Not to much longer before you start the liquid diet...:-)

Scott -- my doctor doesn't require the liquid diet -- or any diet for that matter. Although he strongly suggests that you lose weight, it isn't madatory. (Since 9/24, I've lost 16 lbs.)

Am glad your fine and that there was also no hold up for surgery!!!

I was thinking Joanne about your idea of a get together next year for Halloween , If you looking to see what kind of interest there is you can count us In, as long as we could bring our son with us.

Glad to hear you are O.K., but if you start to feel anything later, please get checked out. Sometimes it takes a few hours for injuries to let you know that they are there.
