The final word

We got to meet with the surgeon yesterday to get some clarification on Toris surgery.  The mass was a reactive lymph node.  The whole mass was one ginormous node.  He cut a piece off of it.  They ran every test known to man on it and it does not show any cancer of any kind.  Good News!  The other news is the node is reacting to something.  We dont know what.  He doesnt know what, and there is no real way to find out.  Whatever reason it is happening it is not life threatening just uncomfortable.  More good news.  We are now waiting for followup from her shoulder surgery and concievably by the first of the year she should be back to work and life should be good.  Also hopefully I will have my surgery by then as well.  A new start for both of us.  Thanks again for all the butt kicking and positive support you guys have provided.  This has been a rough month I am sure looking forward to November!!!

I AM SO HAPPY FOR YOU !!!!
My husband had a very similar condition in his 20's....He has not had a reoccurance...they think it could have been caused by a virus.....I am glad things have gone so well. I could tell how concerned you were. I am sure this is a great relief. I hope all continues to improve...and you have a great start to the new year !!!11

I am so glad to hear that the node was not malignant.  That is great news.  What's the word on your insurance approving your surgery???

Here's to a better November!!!
