Well y'all are not going to beleive this,..

I got asked to a party for last night...and it's the big mens group of texas...and you know, i'm cool with that...I like o make all friends...

well know there was going to be 1 WLS person there...well there was 7

all ranges and surgeries...that was 1/3 of the whole group....and of course like us former fatties..when we get together..it turns into a support group meeting...and low and behold...3 fellows joined in and asked questions becuase they wanted the surgery....they asked lots of questions..

My mind was blown

So, you were like our own little "OH Good Will Ambassador???!!"
(Hope you made us proud... )

I know what you mean. It amazes me how most of the people who know about my up-coming surgery, either know -- or know of -- others who have had it. I read somewhere that gastric bypass is becoming one of the most commonly performed procedures the US (over 140,000 in 2006).
