I just wanted to say thank you for all of oyur encuraging words about my surgery. I never really got nervous or anything. I think I knew so much about what was going to happen that I was ok. the only thing I packed from home that I used was my chap stick.

The pain is worse than I was hoping it might be. It was hard not being able to have any water when I got out of surgery, but once I got some I loved every drop!

I am having trouble getting my meds in. I am doing a lot of sipping and walking. I hope I am not rambling to much as I am still on the pain meds.

Aw I am so glad to hear from you!  You have been in my thoughts today.  Walk walk walk!   Was the pain from your incisions, or the air?  Thank god for good pain meds!

It's good to see you back -- whether you're a "Ramblin' Man" or not!

I hope your pain lessens each day and that you heal quickly.

the key is to keep ahead of your pain as much as possible. wake up every 3 hours or whatever your prescription says no matter how tired you are. I'm thinking of you!!!

Thanks Sean, I am taking the pain meds. It is getting better but slowly and I know it takes time. I have had a had time getting my water in, but I am trying to get more in each day.

Greg is scared, He had me laughing so hard Thurseday night, he was going back to work on Friday and he was running around making sure everything was ready and I had everything around me that I might need. He looked scared to death. I was on a big doase of pain meds and between the two was laughing my butt off which did not help any with the pain. Today I was in the shower and he called and when I did not answer he called a nieghbor he thought I had passed out or something. I have told him he is going ot have to chill that I am ok when home alone. He has been really good.
