What are thoughts on low fat/sugar free peanut butter?

I hear a lot of people eat it.  I haven't tried it.....not because I'm afraid of the density but of the taste LOL  I heard of something called PB2 peanut butter powder that people use and they swear by it.

Actually I like that PB2 stuff.  Its 85% less fat than regular and becuase its a powder, you can mix it into oatmeal or into a protein shake.  I've been meaning to check out the PB2 website, they apparently have some good recipes on there.

I know you are eager to start trying more food, but just be careful and do it in small doses. You may find that some food you liked before the surgery doesn't taste good now, or you can't tolerate it. I love peanut butter but since my surgery I have found that I cannot tolerate it anymore.

I think you and I are very close in when we actually had our surgeries..Mine was 10/1. I'm eating creamy Skippy, the low fat version. I'm able to eat it with no issues. I just made sure that both the fat and the sugar are under 5g per serving. I eat it on crackers and toast/english muffins. Great source of protein. My nutritionist is all for it.
