I have finally figured out why I have felt so full and had such difficulty getting things down. It's called GAS! After passing some wind and going a small #2 (yes, I know, waaaayyyyy too much information) I felt oh so much better and was able to take in more liquids and soft foods.I hope this will be of some help to those who have yet to have the WLS and who might experience the same problem. Boy, do I feel a lot better!     Carla

So, in other words, you felt better once you dropped the kids off at the pool?

HAHA!!

The main thing is that you're back on track!  Continue getting better, and keep us posted.  Thanks for sharing your experience -- I will keep it filed away for next month.

Hiya Carla!!!!  Also make sure you keep walking........physical movement will expell any gas you have.  i have found that I am more gassy now more than ever and it's important to keep letting it rip (pun intended LOL).  however, contrary to popular belief, I have not found my gas to be extrordinarily odiferous at all.  maybe early on yes but now that I'm 5 months out.......I rarely smell it.
