This last week has been very eventful..
First of all..I'm glad to be back on here. I have missed coming here..I hope everyone is doing well! *hugs*
I had a great vacation at the cabin. It was beautiful and very refreshing. I miss sitting by the fire and just relaxing. The fall leaves were so beautiful. I really hated to come home. But, when I got home, I had a birthday surprise from my best friend Kerri from IL. She sent me a couple gifts, but the one that meant the most was a unicorn that she has had since she was little. She said it meant a lot to her and she wanted me to have it. It made me cry..lol She is so sweet..
I also came home to bills and more appointments that have been scheduled. Tomorrow I have pre-op testing for my gallbladder surgery on the 28th. I was surprised that the surgery was scheduled so soon. I just had the ultrasound on the 7th..my docs office doesn't waste any time..lol Last night I had my Sleep Study Test. I felt like I never went to sleep, but the nurse said I did, and they were able to get a good reading. I know that sometimes a second test is done closer to surgery. I sure hope not cause I feel like crap today, and I have icky sticky stuff in my hair and I can't get it out...lol
This next week is going to be crazy. Tomorrow I have my pre-op testing and work, Wednesday I have a cardiology appointment, work, and the group meeting, Thursday I have an appointment with my sleep doc to go over the test results, and I have to work and hopefully get to my sons football game on time, Friday I have to work. I'm going to need another vacation..lol
But it is great to be back on here..I miss you all!!
Hey Sweetie -- nice to have you back, you were missed!
Your vacation sounded like the perfect fall getaway and just what you needed to "recharge your batteries" before resuming your journey. I'm with you in spirit, as the next couple of weeks are filled with appointments for me, too. To make things even crazier, I'm getting ready to move at the end of the month!
I know what you mean about the sleep study -- I had to wash my hair twice in order to get that goop out! What a pain in the "hiney-butt" (as my 6 yr. old goddaughter would say).
