I am exhausted !!!  I worked 17 hours yesterday. I love my job....but I feel guilty when I am totally wiped out and get nothing done at home. I am hoping that with a new a change to 12 hour shifts. Does anyone else struggle with this? Oh and it also REALLY effects my diet !!! Tough to keep a schedule of any type !!!

((((((((SEAN)))))))))  I know what you mean.  as for my job, I work a standard 8:30 - 5 day 5 days a week.  But if there's anything that I hate more is that something breaks my routine.  It throws me off in a big way especially with my diet.  Many times I just end up not eating at all and that's a big no-no.  I have set times or a set progression of my day of when to eat and when to drink....if that gets messed up then I'm a wreck LOL  I hope once you can get into a routine with work, it'll be easier for you to manage!

Ugh.. I hear ya!

I get up at 5:30 go tot he gym.  Home at 7 make breakfast get 12 year old ready take to school. Get to work at 8:15.. Work til  between 5:30 - 7. Pick up Moe where ever he is skating. Go home, cook dinner, clean up, do laundry, make sure Moe is showered, lunch packed and him in bed at 9:30..

I'm lucky if I make it till 9:30. On more than one occasion I have yelled half asleep for him to turn out his light...

But isn't life GREAT??
I have found a new way of life that has kept me at Goal since 2008.. And keeping it that way!

Sean, You have a really demanding schedule. It has to be tough. I work a standard office hours job and am lucky to have almost no overtime involved. I know when I have had hectic schedules, it does make a healthy eating schedule difficult.  It is great that  you love your job. It will carry you through this busy time. You obviously have a very supportive husband to support you during this time. Sounds like you can rely on his support. -- Tom
