How Long after surgery you guys started seeing weight loss? I have been out almost 3 weeks and no weight lost since I went home. Is it normal or am I just hitting a minor stall?

hmmmmm..........tell us what you're eating and how much exercise you're getting.  I lost weight three days after surgery.....13 pounds to be exact but a lot of that was fluid gained while I was in the hospital from the IV fluids.

You suck Aaron! I GAINED about 5-10 pounds (I forget the exact amount) in the hospital. I know that weight came of quickly since it was from the fluids. My doctor suggested not weighing for the first month when the were doing a discharge weight on me and I followed that until about week three. I forget how much I lost then but it wasn't much. Talk to your doc and see what he says.

I suck very well thank you   I think for the first couple months, I was averaging about 35 pounds lost in a month.  But you're right, you shouldn't weigh yourself until after the first month.  Don't do it like I do, i weigh myself every day LOL  some days I just get so discouraged but you know what, every time that scale moves, it all accumulates and it really is a lot of weight in a short amount of time.  I mean kathy, you've done amazingly well for having surgery in January!

Yeah, ok, I wasn't thinking when I said that. As soon as I hit submit I was like ****!!! What was I thinking??? I do weigh myself everyday now and it drives me crazy. I never thought I would become so obsessed with it.
