Does anyone have any suggestions for what I can do for tailgating? We have a small gas gril that we will be using. The problem is I can't eat a hamburger and I can't eat chicken 95% of the time.

have you tried low fat or fat free hot dogs?  how about grilled shrimp?  Or some sort of grilled fish?  I'm not a fish person myself and I do alright with chicken but there's a couple ideas.

I hate hot dogs ever since surgery. I will think about the shrimp. Not a fish person either.

Hi Kathy

Check out egface's website, she just had a recipie for packets you grill, they look awesome, and if you can't do the meat you cab do the veg she uses,

http://theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.com/  You can do the packets up in advance and just throw em on the grill when your ready

What about turkey or veggie burers? Or Turkey tenderloin?

I am allergic to onions so veggie burgers are out. I am a little worried about trying turkey since I can't eat chicken.

Are you allergic to chicken or does your pouch just not tolerate it?

The pouch hates it most of the time. It's usually too dry for me to eat unless it's fried and that defeats the purpose.

How about ground chicken or turkey? I have a fantastic recipe for pesto turkey burgers that are really moist. And turkey meatloaf (or chicke) and low carb mexican lasagna....
