Big Medicine

I LOVE This show... but whats up with the sporatic showings??  The S/O actually sat and watched an episode with me on Saturday.  It meant the world to me.  He was even asking questions and what not.   I think he's finally starting to warm up to this idea.  He  was even very supportive about it when talking to his mother yesterday (she's very scared of the whole notion)

I need to find a website where I can catch up on the episodes.

Tony - these were done in my home town and some of my TX board friends are on the show.  From what I hear they stopped tapping and they finally got approval to start again but I am not positive.  Although I did not have The Davis's or Dr L (plastics)  I have meet them all and they are all great Doctors.

When does Big Medicine actually air? I have been looking for it, and I can never find it. I think it would be good for my boys to watch with me...

It's on Discovery Health on our Time Warner cable. It seems to only have 6 episode seasons which is becoming very popular on cable. go to http://tlc.discovery.com/tv/big-medicine/big-medicine.html. I looked on their web site. They only offer on-line viewing of a limited number of their shows . This is not one of them. It is an interesting and well done show. -- Tom

The hubby never wanted to watch it when I did. Right before surgery I wanted to watch all those type of shows. You are so lucky your s/o will watch and stand up for you. Mine never warmed up to the idea until he was driving me to the hospital on the morning of. If he would want to talk we can get together in December when I have another trip home.

I was never able to find this show, maybe it just doesn't air in Canada.  Anyways, I finally broke down and ordered the series from Amazon.  It's supposed to arrive on Oct 20.

I never though of that..Thanks for the idea..I order from Amazon all the time.
