Protein powder
Hey Jeff.... I am also NOT a fan of protein shakes, and have yet to find one that I do like. I did purchase some "Protein Bullets" and although they are sweet, they are not bad. Keep them in the frige and they are "almost" like jello. They come in several flavors. Also, someone gave me the idea of Carnation instant Breakfast (sugar free), with a cup of skim milk it is 14 grams of protein. (AND it tastes good!!!!)
Good luck,
Sweeny
I used 4 ozs. of Ensure, 4 ozs of milk (I have to use soy cause pre-op I was a little lactose intolerant. Post-op, I can't have it AT ALL!!!), and some unflavored protein powder. I am still trying to find a shake I like but it's hard since I can't have sweetners.
I shall now be know as Hagatha: Queen of the queens.

I like the Whey Protein Isolate (28 grams Protein) from GNC. Vanilla can be mixed with fruit, Sugar Free Syrups, yogurt, etc. The Chocolate actually tastes like good Chocolate Milk to me....not bad! They still have a little protein smell but after the first sip they are fine.
I also like EAS ready to drink ( carb control) from Walmart. Strawberry and Chocolate Fudge are pretty good. They do have an aftertaste!
