I was just reminded of the pic I have on here of me and my lil brother....
We both lost alot of weight....he inspired me, and continues to do so....
We both are gay....I inspired him..just kidding...I came out first and paved the way for him...
Do any of you have similar experiences??
Certainly is one of the reasons why he and I are the closest amoung our 11 total siblings.

I have 2 brothers and 2 sisters......We all get along pretty well. I am closest with My sister Kerri who is 38...She has 4 kids and is also a nurse. My older brother Kevin is 46...He is also bipolar but does not believe in medication....which has lead him to have a very difficult substance abuse problem. He JUST got out of a 6 month program to deal with his addiction to crack. My younger brother Tim is 41. He lives in N.J. and we have drifted apart. His wife can be very difficult and makes it difficult to have a relationship with my brother. My youngest sister who is definitely the little princess of the family still lives in my parents house ....She is 32. She is having her 2nd child and the first with her new boyfriend. I do not like this man and is mentally about 12...and lazy....and "All about me"...he should wear it on a t-shirt.....I am very close with my parents...I am also very close with Russ' family
My only sib is my brother. He is not gay, but like me does not desire to have any kids. It was my mother who was both my role model and my 'what not to do' consultant. She and her partner have been together since I was 16. (Oh, ick, don't walk that way with her. People will think you are gay! 
) It was definately easier to come out to my Mom!!! LOL
The pressure to eat/ diet focused life was from my mom's side, but the fat gene, sleep apnea et al is definately direct from dad and impacts both myself and my brother.

Sharyn: Sorry to hear about your brother. I can't imagine losing mine. He's 15 years younger and my little bro no matter what. (He's 6'1 and around 300 pounds)
