Hey Fuzzy,
Don't know if I'll ever get off my CPAP. My Sleep Apena is soooo bad that I can't even take a nap without my machine. When I do, I feel like crap afterwards. I currently weigh 238lbs. My CPAP is set at 19 out of a possible setting of 20. I too want to get rid of the annoying face mask and sleep normal!

I have turned my pressure down from 15 to 11 since surgery. I am thinking that it needs to get turned down again as I feel really gassy at night. I would like to get rid of mine someday, but am not in a hurry. From never sleeping for years to sleeping now, I don't want to lose my sleep! Craig and I both have them. I am sure that to strangers, our bedroom looks like a geriatric ward!
Fuzzy, I've lost 120 lbs. so far, but it appears that I can't get rid of my BiPAP machine yet. I had a sleep study repeated at the end of June, and I'm STILL stopping breathing multiple times an hour. Damn! The only good thing was that I've managed to reduce my BiPAP pressures from 21/21 to 10/8.
The same thing happened with my high blood pressure meds. Not only was I NOT able to discontinue them, but I had to add a third pill to my regimen just a few months ago. Doesn't this weight loss count for anything?

awww...handsome.......I wish I could help ya out but I think I used my CPAP two or three times since I got it last year. I sleep on my stomach 100% of the time and when I'm on my stomach, I don't get the apnea episodes.....plus it kills my back if I have to sleep on it just for the sake of wearing that damn mask. So mine's been collecting dust ever since. I would say give it a try. If you still have sleep apnea, I'm sure you'll wake up some time in the middle of the night or feel like crap the next day.
