Do you have pets ? If so what do you have? What are they like? If not have you had pets in your past ?? What would you have if you could?

I currently have 5 cats and a dog....the cats are Will, Penny, Judy, Akasha and Boris....The dog is a ****apoo his name is Max and the cats think he is a cat....They are all very friendly, love people and have never scratched hissed or otherwise behaved poorly with humans....We had a 6th cat who died this summer. He was Robby...died at 10 of cancer. One of are cats misses him very much ....She now sleeps on the bed where he did....I have alway wanted a bird...a big bird...maybe after the cats are gone...or are very old. I would not get one without "willing" it to a family member to take care of it after I died

I have 5 furbabies at the moment. 2 cats, 2 dogs and a rat. My cats are both 3 years old, their names are Jasmine and Jo Jo. Jasmine is a little princess. She can be very lovable and sociable, but only on her terms..lol Jo Jo is my baby boy. He is very loving and cuddly. He was taken from his mommy way to early, so he has a security issue. He has to suck on my fingers to fall asleep sometimes, and sleeps above my head on my pillow ALL night. He has also been known to wake me up if I make strange noises..he'll hit my face.
My 2 dogs are Casey and Destiny. Casey is almost 13 years old, but you wouldn't know it. She runs and plays just like a puppy. She is my protector. Destiny will be 5 years old next week. She is my lil sweetie. She sleeps with me every night, and cuddles with me. She is a Min Pin, so when something bigger than her scares her, she runs to me and cuddles. It's so cute..
Angel is my Rat. A lot of people think Rats are disgusting, but I happen to love them. Angel is my 3rd Rat and I love watching her. She is so interesting. The only thing that I don't like about raising Rats is that they only live to be about 2 years old, and they usually die from cancer. My first one died from cancer, and my second one died at only 5 months from pneumonia. Her name was Star and she was Angels sister. My first ones name was May-May. She was absolutely amazing. She was hardly ever in her cage. She would actually eat dinner with me. I know this may sound gross to some, but I would put a small amount of food to the side of my plate and let her eat with me. She loved spaghetti, and it was cute to see her face with sauce all over it...lol

I have also had many other dogs, hamsters, guinea pigs, fish, birds, and I have also had a rabbit and a raccoon! I love animals..that's why I'm now a Vet Assistant..lol

I have had 6 rats in my life. I love them. They are the sweetest animals.

I agree 100%. Until I had adopted my first one, I never thought of having one as a pet. Now I love them and I plan on having more..But I adopt/rescue only. I never buy from breeders. So usually when I get them they aren't babies.

I got my first one from a friend who had to get rid of her. The second and third one I got from pet stores. They were both preggers when we got them. Two were babies of the third one and the last one was a baby of the other two. Yeah, they inbreeded. We didn't know they were the opposite sex.

oops...surprise. Ratties are fertile lil creatures and they'll mate with each other, No matter if they are related or not.. I only get girls when I can, but I won't turn down a boy if he needs a home.

We have a dog, Trouble, he lives up to his name! He is a feist and loves to paper and to jump. We also had his brother, he was Double, They got parvo after we had them for a week. Double was the runt of the litter and he did not make it. Trouble loves to play ball I think if we would sit there and throw the ball for 24 hours he would bring it back every time.

There is a small pride of cats at my house:
Mopsa = 13 yr. old tortie, 6 lbs. anti social princess, eats like a pig, mainly lives in the bedroom on top of my dresser.
Lytton = 12 yr. old yellow tiger, 15 lbs. everyone's friend, prone to peeing on ANYTHING left laying on the bathroom floor.
Squeak = 11 yr. old tuxedo, 9lbs. came with our house, indoor in winter - outdoor in summer, goes out to potty, lap cat, scared of the other cats.
Drake = 5 yr. old 14 lbs. fake manx, 14 lbs. hottie man husband brought him home from work, not a real manx...someone docked his tail and tried to sell him for one, the bully of all the cats, loves to play & escape the house to eat grass.
Little Mamma = 2yr. old white & black, five strays showed up her two falls ago and she's the only one left, ferrel an fertile, bought a humane trap to catch her, but she's too street smart for that.
Boo = 6 mos. old 10 lbs. black, all muscle cat, son of the stray mamma, exotic panther looking, gold/copper eyes, very shy, needs neutered soon and a home.
Will & Grace = 2 mos. white & black, kittens of stray mamma (again), he's mouthy whiney bossy, smart, very friendly, a people lover - she's sweet, smart, doesn't like to share toys...would be good pets and REALLY need a home.
Gen =  2 mos. black, tiny, probably the runt, name is short for generic...we ran out of names, playful, friendly, seems to be a loaner of sorts, growls a lot, poor table manners...needs a family badly.

I have 4 litter boxes, 2 self feeders, 1 self waterer, 2 double feed bowls, 2 reg. food bowls & 2 water bowls. I go through 20 lbs of catfood a week. I spend $50.00 a month for flea drops and that's cheap from Australia. We've had other strays here too. I think there's some sort of underground cat network and my address is top on their list. My inlaws at the other end of the street must be 2nd on the list, as they have 3 of their own (took one of the little mamma's kittens) and several strays they take care of.

I don't have any pets currently.  The only pet I ever had was an Irish Setter named Rusty.  He was a good and playful dog.  I was 7 years old when mom and dad took him away.  I never had a pet again.  Then when I moved out of their house, what do they do?  they get a dog!  LOL  He's a good old dog.  Don't know what breed he is but he's a gentle guy and always happy to see me when I go homr for christmas.  He used to be the neighbor's dog but the neighbor abused him and then he was sent to prison for killing his girlfriend.  So I guess mom and dad inherited the dog.  His name is Buddy.  If I were to have a pet, I'd love to have one like Buddy.  He's a very curteous dog.
