Today seems to be a bit non-descript for me today.  Our corporate brass are here today so everyone's got a smile painted on their faces LOL

So I guess I'm grateful for:

1.  I do not have a management position because I would have to deal with the brass today.

2.  My car made it to work today!

3.  it's a very nice and cool day today.

your turn!

Yesterday was hectic and emotional for me. I had my EGD procedure done, and I was freaking out about the scope going down my throat. But it ended up being no big deal, but I'm still releasing gas today..lol Once I got home, I had to get right back in the car, cause my BF's brother was just rushed to the hospital(the one I just left) because he was having chest pains. I finally got home at 7pm and I was wiped out..I need a day to just do my own thing and just relax. Next week is going to be hectic..2 more appointments..one with my psych, and an appointment with a sleep doctor.

Did they put you out for the EGD?  When I had mine done, they did twilight sedation and OMG I woke up and was fully alert halfway through the procedure!!!!!!!  I had tears coming out of my eyes and I could feel the scope down in there.  it wouldn't have been so bad but they kept pulling it out and shoving it back in while I was still awake!  they didn't give me any mroe sedation after I was looking right at them with my eyes as big as saucers!  LOL  Thank goodness I don't have to go through that again!

They sedated me pretty good, but I was still awake.I was in la la land for awhile and saying some off the wall stuff.  I could feel the scope a little in my throat, but I felt it a lot more in my tummy. My doc said everything looked good..

Three things I'm grateful for today...

1)  I work for State Farm and not AIG

2)  I got to see my partner for lunch.

3)  My son woke up healthy and went to school. (yesterday he was home)

This is great... I LOVE grateful days... Thank you Aaron!
