I was just wondering about feet after wls. Do they shrin along with everything else? I just bought a new pair of shoes and some one said something a my shoe size changing after my surgery, just wondering if I should return those.

Feet definitely shrink. I bought this cute pair of sketchers at Christmas, and they were too tight, hurt my feet, the whole 9 yards, but now.... you can't get me outta them. They kinda look like those old silk oriental slippers.

*hugs*

I guess it would make sense that your shoe size would also go down after WLS.  Less weight pressure bearing down on your feet -- think of what happens when you press clay down on a hard surface!

I hope my shoe size changes -- do you have any idea how hard it is to find a size 6.5-E??

Thanks for the responces, you guys are fast!

I already have a narrow foot (the only skinny thing on my body) so I hope that does not get any skinner.

Oh, do I ever know what that is like. I was a 6-6.5 EE, but now I can wear 6D. How cool is that?

I used to be a 10W, now I'm a 8.5 or 9 depending on the shoe.

I've been 10-1/2 wide for years, now 5 months out and I'm only 10-1/2. No more WIDE for me
