How do I deal with these narrow minded people that think that having weight loss surgery is an easy way out?
( Joanne really got me thinking about this..lol) I haven't really told too many people, and I want to be ready for any and all reactions...

Ignore 'em or educate 'em.  Neither one is easy.

I tend to educate them on all the stuff we have to do FOR THE REST OF OUR LIVES  LOL  Face it, we got off the yo yo and it takes a LOT for us to take charge of our lives and health to make this drastic life change.  Give them a glimpse of your daily routine and show them how "EASY" it is.  They'll shut up then!

I agree..I think educating them would be the best thing. And if they still think the same way..then I'll ignore them..lol Thanks everyone!
