Home from the hospital

Got home from the hospital at around 12:30 Wednesday. I am really feeling well. I have transitioned to the full liquids. No complaints with that. I am about to go on a walk here. I can't tell you how shocked I am at how good I feel. I am not going to push myself though. I was able to walk a lot in the hospital, but it tired me out. Just wanted to let you all know that I made it home safely. Glad to be on the loser's bench now!

OH I'm so happy that you're doing alright!!!!!! You're going to be amazed now! Although take it easy and don't push yourself now. But you're going to be amazed at how much stamina you're going to gain! I can almost walk on the treadmill all day but my lower body gives out before my upper body can start losing a breath! LOL Enjoy your journey it's going to be a great one!

Congrats! I know when I got home from the hospital I could still do 2.5 mph on the treadmill and that's what I was doing before. I figured I would have had to slow down. Up to 3.3 now or I would be running. Good luck on recovery.

Funny how it is cool to be a loser!!!! Great to hear everything went well! Take it easy - don't push yourself. In the long run, the better you take care of yourself now, the easier things will go. Plus, I always say, this is the time to take advantage of this extra TLC because soon you will be working out, pushing yourself to the limit to get to your goal! Enjoy this while you can!!! My motto for the week is: Eat, Drink and be Merry..... translation - Eat (your vitiamins), Drink (plenty of fluids) and be Merry (Happy!) LOL!!!! Take care! Valerie
